Nearly halfway there now
Jul. 2nd, 2008 08:59 amAparently I am incapable of coming to London and not buying stuff. At least it has all been cheap. Urbz was only £10 and yesterday I bought Wimbledon and Lady in the Water for £3 each. Bargain!
Did I mention that my hotel serves Ty Nant water with breakfast? Blue bottles and red ones. I shall have to...liberate a red bottle to go with the blue one on my shelf ;)
I had a strange dream last night that Michael Rosenbaum posted a photo of himself as a little boy on Facebook. Me and
ghosts were leaving gushing comments about how cute he was/is.
I went to see Wanted yesterday with Derek and Lord Matthew
All I wanted out of this was nifty fight scenes and lots of cool stuff with guns, and that's exactly what I got. LOL! The plot was a bit daft (the loom of fate) but I was kind of expecting that.
I liked it. It was cool, and James and Angelina both looked hot. Seriously, did James Mcavoy beef up for this role or have I just never noticed his hot body before? I was quite startled during his shirtless scene.
I think I'm going to go and see Hancock tomorrow. Tonight I will write and/or make icons.

Date: 2008-07-02 04:51 pm (UTC)I don't have the patience to read the books though. I really can't stand the way Frank Herbert writes.

Date: 2008-07-02 12:31 pm (UTC)Every film I've seen that the director's done have been pretty silly yet crazy action packed.
That one had the Loom of Fate, Day Watch had the Chalk Of Destiny.
The man likes his McGuffins.
How on earth did you find cheap things in London?
Every time I've been there, (which granted has only been three times, twice of which were passing through), I've been paying through the nose for everything.

Date: 2008-07-02 03:52 pm (UTC)Hehehe, now I have visions of the director yelling "Cut!" Just after Michael takes a swig of that stuff, and then Michael spitting it into a bucket in the corner.
"Pfffbbbtt! Agh, it's so GROSS!"
