I've just realised I only have 3 weeks until my driving test, and I'm in London next week.

OMG!

I don't feel ready at all!

I've got a lesson today, one tomorrow and then I'll maybe get another 2 in before my test.

*flails*

If anyone has tips on dealing with the crippling fear I'm feeling I'll gladly hear it

If there's any possibility for you to drive outside of the lessons (we have that option here), that can really help. How many lessons have you had so far?

Sadly I can't afford to put myself on the insurance for anyone elses car so it's just lessons.

I think there are loads of people who get their license after that amount of hours - it's not like learning stops once you have the license (believe me, I'm still learning 13 years after getting my license and 16 years after starting to drive). How much would it cost you if you had to take more lessons and retake the driving test (just in case)?

Well, it's £30 per lesson and £50 for the test. I guess it depends how many more lessons I need if I fail

I of course doubt you will fail, but the instructor might be able to tell you how many more lessons s/he thinks you need if you do.

Look on it as a practice. If you don't quite do it, the tester will tell you what you need to brush up on for the next time.
Of course you will pass first time. So ignore above!

LOL! I think it's because I'm putting pressure on myself to pass first time. There's a 2 month waiting list if I fail and with my job hunting I really don't have that time to spare
