Tonights viewing

Tonight I watched Juno (which I selected over TWO RDJ films. See, I can be not shallow) and I loved it. Very sweet!

Then we caught the end of the Top 20 boybands and of course my boys were number one with Duran Duran also in the top three. One thing I did notice though, after watching several videos, is that boybands are actually quite silly. All the videos are the same and massively over-dramatic.

That won't stop me going to see my boys perform though. I'm hoping there will be another tour next year.

The way I see it, boybands are like renaissance poets.

Everything sounds the same, extremely melodramatic and deep down it's about some yuppies who if they don't get laid will surely die!

I haven't seen Juno yet, but I think I'll give it a whirl now. Someone else told me they liked it, but their 'good movie judgement' is usually at about 40%.
