The laptop saga continues
Jun. 12th, 2008 10:03 amMy old laptop adapter is totally dead now and the guy from ebay has issued me a refund for the one I sent back
So I'm back to square one. I've just ordered another one from ebay. I figure that even if it has the same problem as the other one, I really only need it to last me a few months and by then I should have a new job and be in a position to buy a new laptop.
I've actually just applied for another job. The hours are insane but the pay is ace. If I get it I will be earning something in the region of £2000 A WEEK! But I'll have no time to actually spend the money. LOL!
So, once my laptop battery dies I will be pretty much offline until my new adapter arrives. Will be tomorrow or Saturday

Date: 2008-06-12 01:36 pm (UTC)I'll be too tired to do anything when I'm not at work. LOL! The reason it's so much is it pays £30 an hour but the people currently there are working 60-70 hours a week. I'm guessing that's not mandatory but I will probably do it for a couple of months to get some money in the bank

Date: 2008-06-12 09:06 pm (UTC)I'm amazed they get away with those sort of hours ... What with the EU working hour laws and all that.
Good for you if you get it - how long is the contract for?
