More on my adaptor
Jun. 9th, 2008 11:29 pmSorry to keep going on about this but it's so weird! I described the symptoms to our tech guys at work and none of them have ever seen anything like it before.
Essentially, down to trial and error, I have worked out that the problem only occurs when the adaptor is plugged in and the battery is fully or nearly fully charged. The rest of the time it's fine. I've compared all the input and output numbers with the old adaptor and they're identical.
I guess I should still send it back even though it really is workable. I don't need to have it plugged in when the battery is fully charged.
It's just annoying that I'm going to have to use the faulty one while I wait for the replacement.
