Sorry to keep going on about this but it's so weird! I described the symptoms to our tech guys at work and none of them have ever seen anything like it before.

Essentially, down to trial and error, I have worked out that the problem only occurs when the adaptor is plugged in and the battery is fully or nearly fully charged. The rest of the time it's fine. I've compared all the input and output numbers with the old adaptor and they're identical.

I guess I should still send it back even though it really is workable. I don't need to have it plugged in when the battery is fully charged.

It's just annoying that I'm going to have to use the faulty one while I wait for the replacement.

My USB mouse is doing the weird thing again where if it's plugged in it TYPES (it's not even a freaking keyboard) but now it's the number 2 instead of the '+' sign.

So I totally feel your pain. :/

Sometimes computers are weird and I refuse to panic and think they're becoming alive

I firmly believe mine is telling me "screw you I need a vacation."

Hehe!!!

Maybe mine has had too much coffee, the way the mouse bounces all over the screen and clicks stuff without me touching it

Sounds possible. Honestly with computers you never know.

I hate getting used to a new mouse though. :/

I've seen bits bout the weirdness on your LJ. This sounds like something I've read about, but since I don't have the whole picture.

What exactly is happening?

Every time I plug in my power adaptor and the battery gets to fully charged the mouse starts jumping all over the screen or sticking or clicking stuff when I haven't pressed the button
