The York job is a Service Desk job rather than going out and doing hands on fixes. I've said since day one that I don't want to work on a service desk and that, coupled with the fact that the salary is less than I thought, means I'm not going to take it

I'll wait until tomorrow before giving them my answer though, just in case.

If you can get interest in jobs that pay £30-£35K, why settle for £25k? You haven't been looking long, something good will turn up.

Much better than my experience, where either my qualifications and CV intimidate people or I flat out don't have the experience.
