I got the job description for the job in York and I'm hesitating now. It's actually only paying £1,000 more than I get at the moment with £5,000 extra for anti-social hours so that takes me up to £25,000.

Honestly, I think that's not an especially great salary for a job that is essentially going to obliterate a big chunk of my life.

I'll talk it over with the guys at work tomorrow and see what they think

It's not being on call it's working night shifts. 8pm to 8am
