I'm applying for a new job! However I have been clearly ingrained too deeply in the civil service

What's the laymans term for the end of year report you get that tells you whether you've met all your personal targets etc. I'm getting the feeling that if I call it a PADR no one will know what I'm talking about

Edit: The word I was looking for was appraisal

At my job we call it "your anual review".

What does PADR stand for with you?

That's very much what we call it except with a slightly different acronym (PDR). If you use the expansion rather than the acronym they'll know what you mean.

We call it 'year end review'.

If you're looking for a single word, "Appraisal" is probably the one you want. The term does not apply exclusively to Year-End assessments, however

Yes, that was the word I was thinking of. I was just about to edit the entry

Ours is a PDP. I think it stands for 'personal development progress', although I personally favour 'pile of damn-stupid poo', since I am quite capable of going in to work every day and doing my job perfectly well without having to set myself goals.
