I actually watched I'd Do Anything tonight

John Barrowman got totally pwned by Andrew Lloyed Webber. LOL! I have to say I agreed with the panel about Jessie. I couldn't understand what she was saying either. I do agree that her being Irish shouldn't stop her getting the role though

I think Samantha is my favourite but I haven't been watching it every week so I don't really know

It's so weird to think that this time last week I was getting ready to meet John Barrowman. It all feels rather surreal

Oh, and I've booked my hotel for Collectormania in September but I'm not allowing myself to get too excited about it in case Michael cancels again.

Samantha was just as unintelligible as Jessie, I thought. And Niamh was twee. I don't think I liked any of them tonight...

And I thought ALW was incredibly rude to Ashley!

The thing about Nancy not having an Irish accent is that in the book she had been brought up from a child in Fagin's gang. So if she wasn't cockney, she'd sound Jewish! Jessie not only has a quite thick accent, (pronouncing thick as tick, for instance) but she sings out of the corner of her mouth. Both things distract me from her performance... I don't think it's her being Irish that is the problem as the fact that she isn't a good enough actress to lose the accent. And if I were Cameron Mackintosh, I really think I'd like a Nancy who could act!

ALW clearly has the hots for the young things though, so Samantha, Niamh and Jessie are safe if they end up in the bottom with one of the older girls, I'd say.
