It has just come to light that before moving over to a new company last August, we were essentially lied to.

All the promises of help finding new jobs when our current contract ends was crap and we've just had a meeting where the result was 'sort out a new job for yourself or get made redundant'

Today sucks!

Yeah, I'm trying to find out what the redundancy package is. We're really being left on our own here. No one seems to be telling us what's happening or willing to help us in any way. It's really frustrating

I'm on a training course next week and another one at the end of June so I am definitely milking it while I can

Yup -- but take this for a life lesson as well. Look out for yourself first and don't trust that the company is going to look out for you. The managers who say they will may have every intention of following through on their promises, but the great grey entity that is "the company" often has other plans.
