I can drive!

I was a little put off at first as my new instructor didn't seem very friendly but once I got going she seemed to be ok. She was really pleased with my overall driving, just little kinks that need ironing out and I need to pracise my manouvers. She did a couple with me and said I have really good control of the car. I just need to learn how much steering to use etc so I can do it without being prompted.

I still can't reverse around a corner. LOL!

So I'm really happy. I got lots of encouraging feedback and a few pointers. I reckon my target of taking the test in July isn't unreasonable. YAY!

Yay! I can't remember needing to reverse around a corder for my driving test. I can remember failing to properly parallel park and still passing 'tho o.O Now I can only parallel park my (relatively) little Jeep, big cars get me confused. Eh, I don't need to do it much anyway so it works out.

Okay, as a US citizen and worse than that....A BOSTON driver, (know to be some of the worst/most aggressive in the country---but not me personally--of course!! lol)

I don't ever recall a time when I had to go around a corner IN REVERSE!!!! Is that something you crazy UK'ers to often? lol

LOL!!!! No, I've spoken to a few people who can drive and everyone says it's not something you have to do very often. But you need to be able to do it to pass the test, sadly.
