My old driving instructor just rang because I wasn't sure if my lesson this week was cancelled or not. It's a good job he called really because I thought the lesson was tomorrow and it's actually on Thursday, except it's not because it's cancelled.

He's being wonderful I must say. He reassured me about my new instructor and said that a few of his other students have already had lessons with her and really like her but he's also going to send me the numbers of a couple of other people in case I don't get on with her. He's hand picking who he recommends based on the students and what they need. I suppose he has no loyalty to the driving school now he's leaving. LOL! I don't mind that. I'd rather move and have a good instructor than learn with someone I don't get along with.

He's organising a little leaving party next week and is inviting his students. I'll probably go. I owe him a lot. Remember how I used to hyperventilate before every lesson? LOL! If he'd been a bad instructor I'd still be like that.

I can't believe how hard it is to get a license over there! Do teenagers drive at all there?

Well, you're not allowed to start lessons until you're 17 and they cost a lot of money so a lot of people don't. When I was at school I didn't know anyone who could drive.
