Funny how things work out.

I spent yesterday wallowing in lonely misery with my abandonment issues and today I am a social butterfly

I had a lovely lunch with Ros and Rebecca and it was like we never stopped living together. All the old jokes came up and we were winding each other up (in a fun way) like crazy. After a serious apology from Ros about yesterday we turned it into a joke. Every time she said anything to me I was all 'I don't think you should be saying that after you forgot about me yesterday'. I can laugh about it now.

Then when I was walking home I ran into bea_in_a_bonnet and lenina101 and we had a nice chat. It's funny that Bea has been on my friends list for years, we live in the same town and we've never met up or even bumped into each other before. I see lenina101 around at work sometimes but that's it.

So there's talk of a pub meetup some time next week. Should be fun!

We're fans of The Hansom Cab (if you don't mind non-branded versions of drinks) and The Minster in for Ale and beer type drinks or Dusk for cocktails (they have a happy 'hour' Thursday evenings if memory serves). Do you have a preference?
