Wait, what happened with SV? *is clueless* Why did they leave? Not that I really care, look what they did to my show.

This is an honest answer - what changed in Smallville about season 4? Was there a major writer change, or something going on with the CW? Because I missed it and came back to major SUCK and I was like "...this isn't my show. I see Welling but this ISN'T MY SHOW!"

I haven't watched much past 3rd season (I went no TV for a while a few years ago because I was a poor student) so I have not yet witnessed the badness that has been S4+ but I have DVDs waiting for me...*eyes with a bit of trepidation*
