Smallville has been renewed. I care not. It's not going to be the same without Lex and really, these days, I can't stand Clark. I will not be watching unless, somehow, it becomes the most awesome thing ever and Lana dies leaves

The clusterfuck that was the Lexana wedding just destroyed my will to live... or to watch any more SV anyway. Though I admit I enjoyed Fracture when astrea9562 made me watch it while I was staying with her. Generally, though, I tend to be in denial of anything after season five.

I really didn't like Season 5. I didn't like any of the episodes. Some of them had good parts (like Reckoning and Lexmas) but there isn't a single episode I love all the way through. Every other season has at least one episode I love.

See, Lana aside, I still enjoy it. I like the potential in it, and though at times it's frustrating.

Which remminds me, I've made a second start on the fic I talked about it. I had started writing, but lost the first few hundred words when I got an attack of the BSOD. So today I started on paper.

Still not past Ollie shirtless though - mmm....

I've got some excellent ideas for where it's going. It's weird though, the Angels and Demon's story, I've lived in my head for months now, it's a world that's been growing and growing, I know where the universe goes after the first book even. Most of the stuff I write is alive in my head.

Using other people's characters though, isn't the same... it's purely idea based, rather than my own insanities. Once I've done this I might, might get round to finish my first attempt at fic. They'll tie together quite well.

Think I might have an obsession with the Green Arrow though... I'm going to have to get me an icon. In fact, of all the SV episodes I've downloaded, which is all of them, the only one I've kept is Justice. Hmmm...

Hehe! Well, it was never a great show to begin with but it was fun and cute and slashy. It's not even that anymore.

At least I still have my great shows like SPN and BSG (and Chuck and Heroes when they come back)

I think I might even like SPN more than BtVS (although I loved Spike more than Ilove Dean now).

I wasn't surprised. It's the highest rated show on the network and they're floundering for shows right now. KK's contract is also up and when she was interviewed last year she said she was leaving at the end of S7. I might watch again without Lana. I truly and deeply hate her character.

I'll watch it, because I want to see how they play out the Superman angle (what's left to say? No parents, no Lex - why not fly off to Metropolis?) But it won't be the same without my sexy Lexy.

Season 7 is his last, although I read they're currently in negotiations with him re Season 8. I'll be very surprised if he agrees to stay on beyond the odd guest appearance though

Ugh I hope he turns them down. I can't imagine why he'd stay. I doubt the show can pay much at this point with such low ratings. I really want to see him move on. Or he insists Lex grow a spine. :)

Yeah, I think I'd rather he just left and be done with it. It's unlikely to go back to being the great show it was in the early seasons so it's best to just cut and run.

This is what makes it so sad. Any other network would have canceled a long time ago, but because this one needs the show so badly, SV is going down with a huge whimper.
