I've watched SO many DVDs this weekend *g*

With Helen we watched:

The Lost Boys - Not seen this film for years and it's still awesome

Clerks II - Not seen it before. Most amusing. Especially Marshall from Alias talking about Lord of the Rings

The Crow - Same as The Lost Boys. Still awesome after all these years

Urban Legend - Hee! Still awful but Michael looks pretty *g* Someone needs to write a fic where Parker doesn't die. Maybe he could meet Clark...or someone else

Today I watched Night Watch and Day Watch with Dave

I had to watch Night Watch again as it's been about 4 years since I saw it at the cinema LOL. It's good but incredibly odd. Day Watch was the same. LOL. I heard there was going to be a third film but I'm not really sure how since Day Watch seemed to tie everything up

I talked with my dad about Day Watch, and how it ending seeming to cut off the possibility of a third film.

However I have read Twilight Watch, and it goes on as if it's a brand new story - where as Day Watch, and Night Watch are very linked. The link in the third film are the characters, some old, and a few new (or focused on a bit more from passing references in the earlier story). I really enjoyed it - I say it's a new story, it's told in episodes that build up to the climax - so maybe they could make a series? Sadly a series isn't likely to be translated into English, nor get such a big budget (for a Russian production), as the films.

I would love to see Twilight Watch made into a film though - it would be awesome.

If you're reading pile is ever getting low, I'll lend the book to you :)

Really, what was up with that death? I was expecting something that actually related to his character. And besides, he wouldn't realistically die immediately from internal burns like that. He could either be saved, or just survive the attack and be spending time in the hospital with the doctor trying to make sure he doesn't get an infection and die. The latter would really suck for him, though. Maybe he could be transferred to a specialist in Metropolis

Where was Urban Legend supposed to be located? I'm vaguely amused by the thought of Clark and Chloe trying to solve that case and realizing that a normal, but crazy, human person was behind the murders.

Really, I'd happily see Parker with anyone. Nick from The Fog could be fun too

His death did sort of relate to the character. I only noticed on the second viewing that Brenda makes him eat pop rocks before feeding him the bleach.

But, anyway, I'd love to see Parker tranferred to Metropolis. Oh, if only someone would write such a fic *flutters eyes*

I suppose, but it was the other character who was being a real jerk about the pop rocks, not Parker. I noticed it the first time around, and thought there had to be a better way to skewer him. Maybe that was Brenda's way of telling him to STFU.

I'll bring it up with the master. :D
Kip and Brandon are kind of the priority right now, though. Kip would kill me if I left him hanging with THIS plot.

Saw both Nightwatch and Daywatch @ the cinema after my flatmate missy_manic suggested them. Not sure I understand them, but I like them for sure. Especially the way the subtitles interact with the action itself.
