We're in a lovely little coffee shop in El Paso which has free wifi so I'm online using my own laptop *pets it*
We've had a quiet day in today and watched a lot of DVDs. I have now, finally, seen the commentary for Red. OMG so much love for Tom and Michael. We also watched the commentary for Rosetta and a load more JLA. Uh...I made icons. Coming up shorty.
Tonight we're going to watch Poolhall Junkies. I have been exposed to more Michael in these last few days than the rest of my life put together. LOL.

I might actually try and do some writing tonight. The mpreg deadline is drawing ever closer and I haven't written a word yet. Bad Hils!

Date: 2008-01-09 01:34 am (UTC)Go ahead, get drunk! You're not driving or anything, are you? Comedies are always more funny with a little buzz on!
Have some more chocolate! When will you have such easy access to American sweets again?

Actually, American chocolate is pretty gross but I am in love with Animal Crackers

Date: 2008-01-09 02:16 am (UTC)I agree, Animal Crackers are the bomb. Have you tried the iced variety? They're pink and white with sprinkles. Really sweet, but heavenly in small doses.
Okay, now I feel compelled to find you some decent American chocolate. What about See's? Do they have that in Texas? I know we'll never rival Belgium or anything, but my patriotism demands I try to win you over! LOL!
Barring that, at least tell me what American candy you do like, because I'm going to need some suggestions for Valentine's Day!

Date: 2008-01-09 02:53 am (UTC)Lexi doesn't know what See's is so I guess they don't have it here.
Uh...I haven't really tried any candy apart from the animal crackers yet. Any recommendations? We're going shopping again later in the week. I'm more than willing to try stuff if I can find it.

Date: 2008-01-09 03:48 am (UTC)Do they have Jelly Belly's in Texas? They're made here in California, but I think they sell them everywhere. They're pretty amazing.
If you're talking basic candy bars they have in the grocery store, I like PayDay, Baby Ruth, Raisinettes, Smarties (not the same as the Smarties you have in England), and for you especially, York Peppermint Patties! :) Ask
