I bought some Dr Pepper today to see if I can figure out what it's supposed to taste like. I don't know if they've changed the recipie since I last had some (in about 1992) but it's actually quite nice

I think redeem147's description of Cherry Coke mixed with Cream Soda was the closest.

Fascinating experiment though. You all had different ideas about the flavour.

I am now getting to the wanting to fall over stage of being tired. 4 hours to go and I need to pack when I get home. I was going to try and get some more CDs onto itunes but really I'd rather just sleep. I've got shy of 1000 song on my ipod and a load of vids so that should keep me going.

Dr. Pepper indeed tastes pretty good but it does have a "prune" taste to it.

I've never had prunes so I don't know what they taste like :)
