What is Doctor Pepper supposed to taste of? I just described it to
lexalicious70 'weird and wrong' but I'm guessing that's not what they were aiming for. LOL
The website describes it as 'a blend of 23' flavours but what do you think?

Date: 2008-01-01 09:07 pm (UTC)Max Wolheim, who "can't guarantee the accuracy of any of this," posted this interesting article (with a small caveat) on June 20, 1999:
Yes, I've heard the "23 fruit flavors" of Dr. Pepper [sic] for years. I can tell you this is nonsense! I can't reveal the source (he'd get fired), but here is a list of some of the real flavoring ingredients:
Vanillin (imitation vanilla)
Extract of almond
denatured rum (no joke)
Oil of orange
lactic acid (optional; once listed separately from "flavorings")
It also says that there never have been prunes in Dr Pepper.
Now if you want "weird and wrong" (and also Texan), try Big Red.

Oh, but Big Red is awesome.
Try it with vanilla ice cream!
