Skating

EEEE, that was brilliant! I'd forgotten how much I love skating, and despite not having done it for 4 years I didn't fall over at all. WOO HOO! Had a few near misses but that was mostly down to stupid kids whizzing around and not looking where they're going. Yes, that made me sound like an old woman. Hehe!

aubloomiel is lovely and hopefully we'll get to meet up again soon. We didn't get the chance to talk much apart from on the way home. I've suggested a trip to the pub *g*

Didn't take any photos while we were skating but I did take one of the rink before we started

Nope, it's next to Clifford's Tower in front of The Castle Museum

Ah - that makes sense. I was thinking it was a bit big to be along that other strip but I couldn't think of anywhere else they might put it. That's so cool! We have a rink right outside my work building in downtown St. Paul. I should get my butt out there and do some skating! :)

Yes, this was great fun! Thanks for coming along! It's so boring to go skating alone (even when you end up skating on your own at the end *lol*). I told Philip about your pub-suggestion and he also thinks we should meet up again. Maybe in the Royal Oak, hehe. We're probably going there today to finally have some puddings again.
