1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Wrapping paper. I actually suck at wrapping things but I like to make the effort.

2. Real tree or artificial?
Arificial, but I do love the smell of a real one. I think if we had the means to get one into our flat (ie a car) then maybe we would have one


3. When do you put up the tree?
First weekend of December

4. When do you take the tree down?
As I live in the UK that would ALWAYS be before or on 12th night.

5. Do you like Eggnog?
Funny, I just posted about this yesterday. I have never had it but I am considering experimenting and trying to make some.

6. Favourite gift received as a child?
I usually got a seasonal Barbie which I always used to love. I got a car for her one year. A red ferrari. It was awesome. I don't recall a specific favourite though. I was always (and still am) thrilled with whatever I got for Christmas

7. Do you have a nativity scene?
No, but my parents do and it was always my job to arrange the figures when I still lived there

8. Hardest person to buy for?
My Dad. Although now he has an Amazon Wishlist so that makes it easier. My friend Matthew is a bugger to buy for too as he never has any suggestions when I ask him.

9. Easiest person to buy for?
jacqui_hw although we still haven't played the Lost board game I got her for Christmas last year. LOL

10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
The Robson and Jerome album. I did ask for it but I think I was being a sarcastic teenager at the time. Won't be making that mistake again. LOL.

Mail

12. Favourite Christmas Movie?
Love Actually. Jacqui and I watch it every year.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
Middle of November usually. I was a bit late this year but I still had all of it finished before Dec 1st

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
No.

15. Favourite thing to eat at Christmas?
Oh, that's too hard. Mum-Ra always gets amazing stuff in at Christmas. I do love the cheeses though. I generally avoid eating cheese apart from at Christmas so it's a real treat.

Coloured

18. Travel for Christmas or stay at home?
I go to see my parents every year.

Yes. Do you want me to? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, Rudolph. No, I did not use Google.

Star

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning?
Christmas Day morning. Usually early but it depends what time we can convince flickums to leave her bed. LOL.

22. Most annoying thing about this time of year?
Going into town and getting squished

23. What I love most about Christmas?
Surprising people with presents. I try and put some thought into the gifts and I like to see how they react

24. What I love least about Christmas?
It never snows

Nope. Can't remember the last time it did. We usually get a bit in January/February but not a huge amount
