Looks like I've got another busy weekend ahead of me.

Ros has been suggesting for ages that we have a girly sleepover party at her new house. So we're going to do it tomorrow. There will be food, wine, videos and much giggling. Then, on Saturday, we're going to Ikea. I've never been to Ikea before. It could be fun.

On Saturday afternoon/evening Jacqui and I are going to put up our Christmas decorations and then watch Strictly Come Dancing.

On Sunday Mum-Ra is coming to visit and then there will be Top Gear and Cranford to watch.

Despite all that I'm still confident I'll get my [livejournal.com profile] undermistletoe fic finished by the end of the weekend. I wrote a load more this evening and I'm nearing the end now. It might need some fixing up or bulking out but I can do that next week. I don't have to post until Friday.

Speaking of the fic, I don't normally do this but I would really love a cover for it. Would any of you talented Smallville artists/manippers mind having a go at one for me. Uh, when I've come up with a title for it anyway. LOL.

That sounds like a glorious weekend! Sleepovers are even more fun when you're a grownup and can add alcohol to the mix. :)

You've never been to Ikea? Until recently, I, too, was an Ikea virgin. I suggest comfortable shoes - they're ginormous! Also, deviate from the floor arrows at your own peril - I was reprimanded. hee! At the one I went to they had staffers wearing T-shirts that said Christmas Help on the front. On the back they said something like (I don't remember the exact words), don't ask me questions, I don't know anything. ha!

You've never been to Ikea!?!?! You will be astounded at the prices of things that MFI/Homebase etc sell at twice the price. Particularly cheap are the Xmas decorations and don't forget to look for a gingerbread house kit you can make for Christmas (I love the fact gingerbread translates to 'pepper cake').

Have fun!

Oh dear! I was hoping not to buy stuff and save my money but that's not going to happen is it? LOL!
