Top Gear actually killed me tonight. I couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard and I had tears streaming down my face. If I can find a clip tomorrow I'll post it. So silly!

Is anyone else watching Cranford? It's been ages since I enjoyed a good BBC costume drama and I am liking this one a lot.

Kelly was in the Strictly Come Dancing dance-off tonight *gasp* Luckily she was saved by the judges but the poor girl was nearly in tears.

Hmph. It was totally the judges fault that she was there in the first place! I think Len was jet lagged - he was a misery guts all night. And frankly, there is no way he would have spoken to any of the other couples the way he spoke to Kelly and Brendan. I think he should be made to apologise...

What was interesting was that I watched last night with the expert commentary switched on (it was Phillip someone and Anton Du Beke) and they didn't mention any of the stuff the judging panel did! They picked up on a couple of things, but on the whole were positive.

Len practically had Kelly in tears last night. I agree that he was overly nasty to her. There was really no need to shout the way he did.

The routine was a little iffy but I think that was more Breandan's choreography than anything else.

Ah well, they're still here. I'm for Matt, Kelly and Alesha in the final

I'm loving
Cranford
. I read the book a long time ago, so I know a little of what is coming - it's interesting to see how they are adjusting it to fit in stories from a couple of her shorter fictions. The performances are superlative - talk about a
Who's Who
of British acting talent!

My mum has read the book. Might need to borrow it. Been forever since I read some 'classic' literature

I cheered when Michael Gambon turned up tonight. LOL.

I cracked a line which earned me a glare from the daughter. It's a man in a corner - it must be a Gambon! We've been watching too much Clarkson of late.
