I am totally loving introducing Flick to the early seasons of Smallville when it was awesome. I heart The Pilot so much. It may actually be the best episode ever.

I've picked a good selection of episodes. Mostly for selfish reasons *g*

The Pilot
Metamorphosis
Shimmer
Red
Rosetta

So it was downhill from the start then?

Well, there are good episodes after that but it was a bloody good start *g*

Oh, those are all great episodes! You guys must be having so much fun! Do you have the DVDs? Because the commentaries with Michael and Tom on Red and especially Rosetta are wonderful!

I do have the DVDs but I haven't listened to any of the commentaries yet *g*

OMG! You are in for a treat! They taped the commentaries for Red and Rosetta back-to-back. The one for Red is great, but a little awkward, with some long silences. By Rosetta, though, they were all warmed up, and Michael and Tom are hilarious, and amazing, and pure gold! I won't tell you anything they talk about, I don't want to spoil it, but you have to listen to those! Tom hasn't done a commentary since, which just makes me cry.

Aww! That's sad. I might listen to them tomorrow. *g*

The commentaries are hilarious, Tom does a hobbit impression, MR is cracking everyone up. Tom's get snarky with KK for falling asleep. Really worth watching the episodes with them on. PLus the easter egg interview with MR and the costume guy is side splitting funny!

OOH! How do I find the easter egg?

I am rather looking forward to Tom being a hobbit

On the fifth disk (the one with a picture of Pete on it) of Season 3 of Smallville under the features menu, use your remote to select an arrow at the bottom right of the screen. This will take you to two more features one for additional scenes and another for Producing Smallville. On either one of the features, press the right directional button on your remote and a hidden icon of the Superman emblem will appear. Select it and enjoy a fun seen with Michael Rosenbaum interviewing a crew member.

Don't forget season opener for season 4 (don't know the name right now) Mostly because you get to see Tom's ass, and cause they introduce Lois for the first time. But mostly for the ass! heheh!

The Pilot is still one of my favorite episodes. I can watch it over and over, if I fast forward past Princess!Lana. ;)

Hehe! Yeah, even the Clana scene in the graveyard is sort of sweet

Which includes the scene with Clark standing by the angel statue so he looks like he has wings. Which makes that scene so much more tolerable. ;) That and Clark being so sweet even though we know Lana's a nutcase.
