A very important question

I generally keep my headers and icons textless because I am really bad at putting text on things and liking how it looks. But now I have questions



I'm not sure I like the weird glow on the right hand side of Lex's face


This has Clex hand holding but Lex's is pulling a weird face

So, of course I want to put text on it (after I've fiddled with textures and made it pretty) but I have no idea what font to use, what colour to make the text or where to place it. Do any of you fine, talented people have any ideas?

And about the ext. It'd be hard to judge at this stage, and depends on what you do with the image and what the text will say.

Well, the text is going to say 'Kneel Before Zod' so the first cap might make sense with the text? Maybe

I like the first one, the glow around Lex's face is also around Clark's mouth and nose profile so it doesn't look odd. Plus, it looks like Clark is proposing and Lex's isn't sure if he's kidding or not. =)

Except that I didn't even notice that whitish area around Lex's head until you pointed it out. What graphics tool do you use?

I made the cap using PowerDVD and I make the graphics with Paint Shop Pro

In the first one, you can wonder what's gonna happen: will Clark take the hand or not? Plus, Lex hand = bonus points! :D

For text, my suggestion is go with lyrics for songs you like/associate with those particular characters. An example for these two would be Puddle of Mudd's CONTROL:
