Dave (the TV channel, not the guy I work with) is the best thing ever.

Tonight they showed a repeat of the first ever Top Gear I watched a few years ago with my mum. Seeing them firing cars at a caravan with an air canon convinced me that clearly it was the best programme ever and I have been a fan ever since. It was nice to watch it again.

Then there was QI, which I can watch over and over even though it's a repeat, and then Never Mind The Buzzcocks. Now Jeremy Clarkson is hosting Have I Got News For You but I need to go to bed.

Clearly a channel that shows programme after programme of my favourite shows is made of win.

Me too! I only discovered it a couple of weeks ago but seeing Top Gear tonight prompted me to post about it

I was watching QI on Dave the TV channel earlier. It is made of win as they also show repeats of Whose Line Is It Anyway? = \O/

Now you know how I spent my summer. The only thing that Dave has that G2 didn't is Who's Line is it Anyway. Everything else I've now seen x50

Amen to that!
Is it supposed to be a 'blokey' channel? Because I'm another girl who loves Top Gear too! *g*

We discovered it a couple of weeks ago and it's rapidly become a real favourite. I adored
Whose Line Is It Anyway
when it was first on, donkeys years ago, and it's great to see it again. And Clarkson and crew are always magic.

My husband is convinced it's designed for him personally. All the BBC programmes he loved brought together in one channel. What's not to love?

It's so great! I doubt we will ever watch anything else (except BBC1 for Strictly Come Dancing)

Not even
Fanny Hill
on BBC4? That was strong stuff!

Was it? Oh, blast. I didn't watch it because I thought that the BBC would never be able to do justice to the greatest piece of pornographic literature of all time. Perhaps I should have done.

It was funny watching Andrew Davies toning something down, which he had to do, even for an obscure channel at that time of night. It was great fun though, and surprisingly hot. Inevitably it raised all sorts of questions about the fantasy of teh whore who enjoys her job and ends up rich, married and respectable, but nothing one couldn't ignore.

No doubt they'll repeat it ad infinitum...

Yeah, it'll be out on DVD eventually too. LOL.

The last thing like that I watched was The Fingersmith I think, and that was pretty tame as I recall
