Bruce question
Oct. 10th, 2007 07:24 pmI think
herohunter asked this a while back but I can't remember what the answer was.
If Bruce Wayne were to arrive in Smallville how many years older than Clark would he be?
I still need a Bruce Wayne/Batman icon.

Date: 2007-10-10 07:28 pm (UTC)Traditionally, Bruce is 35 and Clark is 29.
However, since Birthright, Clark is only three or four years younger than Lex, which means that, since Lex has been President, Clark has to be at least 31. I also don't remember anyone saying that Lex was the youngest President ever, which I think is still JFK, so Lex was probably at least 45, making Clark . . . 41!?!?
So does that make Clark six years older than the 35-year-old Bruce, or is Bruce now 46, or what?
Dunno.

Date: 2007-10-10 09:21 pm (UTC)Bruce is older, but he can't be older by much, not unless he's going to retire as Batman soon. Clark has: worked at the DP, married Lois (I'd give that at least 5 years), died and come back (at least one year?), seen at least four Robins (which could mean close to ten years) and Lex's stint as President (almost four years), one Crisis+One Year Later storyline (2 years) while being Superman - all in all, I'd say he has been Superman for more than a decade. If he started around 20, that makes him thirty, and Bruce shouldn't be older than his mid or late thirties to still be in top condition... still that allows for more than six years of age difference.
In any case, on SV he'd almost certainly be Lex's and Ollie's age or maybe a tiny bit younger.
