14 – Ratings – how high are you comfortable with going? Have you ever written higher? If you're comfortable with NC-17, have you ever been shocked by finding that the story you're writing is G-rated instead?
I've written all ratings but I'm not very good at NC-17 stuff so generally the stuff I write ranges from G to R. I don't think I've ever been shocked with the rating of a fic I'm writing. Whatever happens happens naturally. I don't set out with a rating in mind I rate it based on what I've written.
