The questions and previous answers )

2 – Name the fandoms you've written in, and how much you've written in that fandom, and if you still write in it.

OOH, let's see if I can remember them all

1. Buffy the Vampire Slayer - As I mentioned yesterday this was my first big fandom and probably the fandom I was the most prolific in as I wrote solely in this fandom for a good few years. I had my own website which hosted my own fic and the fic of other people as well. It won a few fandom awards back in the day when awards were still things :D
2. Pirates of the Caribbean - This was the first fandom where my primary pairing was a slash pairing (Jack/Norrington). I didn't write a huge amount (10 fics according to my fic journal tags) but I read loads
3. Lord of the Rings - This may lost me some friends but I'm just going to come out and say it. I have written real person slash and most of my LotR fic fell into this genre (Sean Bean/Viggo Mortensen). Yeah, it was a thing. Again I didn't write a huge amount but there you have it. Don't hate me?
4. Alias - Just a couple of drabbles in this fandom mostly for prompts I was given
5. Smallville - This was another huge fandom for me and I've probably written almost as many Smallville fics as I have Buffy fics. It was all Clark/Lex and I used to take part in a lot of monthly challenges and stuff like that as well as writing episode codas.
6. LOST - Again just small drabbles and ficlets. I think most of it was Sawyer/Kate?
7. Sharpe - More little drabbles
8. Hornblower - More little drabbles
9. Merlin - This was another big one for me. Not quite up there with Buffy and Smallville but I wrote a decent number of fics (all Merlin/Arthur of course). I co-wrote some brilliantly cracky fics with [livejournal.com profile] lou_angel too.
10. Supernatural - This was probably the high point of my fandom career. The quality of my fic was better than it has ever been. Probably because the quality of the stuff I was reading was so good and it pushed me to do better with my own work. This was the fandom where I took part in my first bigbang. In fact I wrote a few bigbangs in the SPN fandom. Definitely the longest fics I've ever written in any fandom. I look back now and wonder how I managed it! 5k feels like a lot these days!
11. Marvel - Another one where I didn't write a huge amount but I'm pleased with the ones I did write. This was the point where my night shifts started taking their toll and I didn't really have the energy to write a lot
12. Dragon Age - I've only actually completed one fic in this fandom but I have several WIPs which I keep thinking of going back to
12. The Man From UNCLE - And this is where I'm at right now. I've finished one fic in the TV universe and one fic in the movie universe. Got one that's half completed and ideas for several more. All in the TV universe. I just need to motivate myself to write them

My sister [livejournal.com profile] flickums is visiting this weekend. We went to see the Man From UNCLE movie this evening. It was her first viewing and my 6th. Oops. Anyways she enjoyed it so YAY and commented that it was the slashiest thing ever.

Well, of course I had to point out that the movie has NOTHING on the amount of gay subtext in the show and proceeded to describe the plot of The Suburbia Affair. Naturally she wanted to watch it so we did that when we got home.

It's probably not the best episode to use to introduce someone to the show. Although she did watch it when we were kids but she was very young and doesn't remember much about it. But it's so ridiculous and funny and I love it.

Illya's souffle rage is one of my all time favourite things in the show especially at the end where he gets right in Napoleon's personal space and informs him in no uncertain terms that he is not going out for dinner he is going to come home and have his damn souffle

And, here, have this totally gratuitous and out of context screenshot :D
