Back to reality

The shifts I worked on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day seemed to drag on forever but the 5 days off I had off after that flew by. Back to work again tomorrow and am working New Year's Eve, New Year's Day and Bank Holiday Monday. Boo!

But then I'm off for another 4 days \o/

My shift pattern is changing next week. At the moment I do three 12 hour day shifts, three days off, three 12 hour night shifts, three days off and then back to day shifts again.

What I will be working from now on is two 12 hour day shifts immediately followed by two 12 hour night shifts followed by four days off. It works out better not only because I get four days off but I get most of the day between the end of the 2nd day shift and the start of the 1st night shift too.
