I'm only $47 away from hitting my $1000 Crowdrise goal for the Haiti trip with 10 days left before Lisa and the others set off.

You'd think as a writer it would be easier to express myself but I am really struggling here.

Last night two people very kindly donated to my Crowdrise which pushd me well over my $1000 goal.

Seriously, you guys, thank you. I have been absolutely blown away by the support and generosity I've received while doing this. When I first decided to try and raise some funds for Haiti I honestly expected maybe one or two donations. I seriously underestimated how awesome you all are.

So please know how much I appreciate you all, and know that your donations will be making a HUGE difference to the orphans in Haiti.

I believe the plan is that Lisa and the others will be checking in daily while they are over there to keep everyone informed of progress and what's happening. I'll be sure to pass any information on so you guys can see how your money is being spent.
