I loved this! I particularly loved the background story with Gabriel, Lucifer and Michael. But I loved the rest too, particularly how the original stuff tied in with the canon of the show.

I am totally adding Zat to my favourite author list. 130k gen fic and I loved every moment of it. Really interesting take on the events of S5. I'm fact I'd say it was about a million times better than the actual S5 ending. LOL

The fate of Castiel

As S6 draws to a close yet again there is much speculation about what's going to happen with Misha and Castiel if S7 happens. There's been an alleged 'leak' that Castiel has been written out of the show.

This happens every year and every year I say the same thing. Fret not.

Seriously, whatever happens it can only be seen as a good thing. If Cas comes back for S7 then YAY if he doesn't then Misha gets to go on and do something else which is also a big tick in the YAY box. There's plenty of shows out there that would be lucky to have him.

I know that for a lot of you Castiel is the only reason you watch SPN. I can't think about it that way. To me it's always been the Sam and Dean show with Cas as an awesome bonus. I watched the show for three years without Cas and I'll continue to watch it if he goes.

We've all seen that Misha is capable of great things and is incredibly determined. Whatever happens I'm sure he'll make the best of it.

But in all honesty I can't see the writers getting rid of one of their most popular characters unless Misha actually wants to go.

Only time will tell I guess.
