Right, I was reading a fic set in the 2014!verse today and it got me thinking. I'm assuming it's safe to discuss SPN S5 outside of a cut at this point but in case you haven't seen it scroll past this entry now
Right, so Chuck is God, yes? Yet Chuck is in the 2014!verse. Which means...I don't even know what it means. Was he there just to watch what was going on? Did he approve of Zachariah's plan to show Dean what the future would look like. What does it MEEEEEAN?
Seriously, rationally I know that the decision to make Chuck God came late in the game. Misha said originally Cas was going to be God but the writers changed their mind when they wanted Cas back for S6.
But it now means all of S5 (the episodes with Chuck in at least) are just one massive headfuck. THE CONVENTION EPISODE. Why is God there?
