Wow, I really wasn't expecting anyone to reply to my self-indulgent whining from last night. You guys have completely blown me away with your kind words and support.

I wish I didn't care what random, nameless people on the internet are saying about me but I guess it hit a nerve because I thought they were right. Maybe I can reach a medium of posting about Misha without going crazy. I really don't want to be thought of as one of those fans.

But, anyway, thank you so much! *smishes you all*

This was amazing! It's brilliantly characterised and also hot. I absolutely loved it.

Merlin/Arthur

Canon AU -- Merlin's death is only the beginning; with no-one to protect the kingdom, Camelot falls to an enemy sorcerer and Arthur is forced to serve in the court that he once ruled. This was truly epic, both in length and in content. I got so sucked in I felt sad when I realised I was too tired to finish it all in one go.

This is such a wonderfully clever idea and it works perfectly. This is another one I got absolutely hooked on and couldn't put down.

Jensen can’t figure Misha out, but he’s more than happy to try. A scene involving Dean, Cas, a heartfelt conversation and cherry pie helps move things along.
The author does a fantastic job of getting inside Jensen's head and making me feel like I was in there too. Who the hell can figure Misha out anyway?

Christmas pics

Christmas has been a pretty low-key affair this year. In fact the whole period has been. I don't know if it's because I'm still settling into my new job or if I'm just getting to that age where Christmas isn't a big deal anymore but I haven't felt Christmassy at all this year. I haven't watched a single Christmas film apart from Love Actually with jacqui_hw, I haven't listened to any Christmas music at all apart from on the radio at work (and I switched that off after an hour because it was annoying me). I've just felt kind of meh about the whole thing.
