Job stuff

So the place I'm going to for the interview tomorrow finally sent me the job spec a couple of hours ago (seriously, it was 10pm) which has made it somewhat difficult to do much prep work. I've had a look at their website but the job spec itself doesn't actually say a huge amount so I think I'm just going to have to play it by ear and see what happens.

It's going to be hard work, I can tell that already. 12 hours shifts working 3 days on and three days off either 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am depending. I get the feeling it's quite a high-pressure environment but I can't afford to be picky at this point. We'll see how it goes and if it's really awful I can keep looking for something else.

Just have to wait and see what happens tomorrow.

I honestly have no idea how that interview went. I started off feeling positive but by the end not so much. I answered all their questions as best I could but I dunno.

I met with the guy who would be my boss and his deputy and they interviewed me for a bit. Then they popped out to discuss me. Afterwards I asked if I could see where I'd be working if I was successful so the deputy took me up for a look around. Then I met a guy who I think was the CEO and he asked me some more questions. Then he and my potential future boss popped out to discuss me as well.

When the boss came back in he had a chat and said they had more people to see but that I'd hear something next week. I dunno. I just got the impression that all the popping out to discuss me was to discuss whether to offer me the job or not and the 'we have other people to see' was just an excuse because they'd decided I wasn't suitable.

We'll have to see what happens I guess. Had a call about a couple more jobs while I was in the interview. They're both less money but it would be just about manageable I think.

So watch this space.

Wow, I haven't shared Misha's tweets since before I went to Chicago. I am a bad minionwife.

Sam and Dean work for the company, capturing escaped slaves and returning them to their owners, until they're sent after the angel Castiel and Dean finds his worldview getting a major overhaul. On the run from Michael and Lucifer, the Winchesters discover family secrets and their own role in what might just be the end of the world.
I loved this! It's long and epic and I was totally hooked when I was reading it.
