Sam and Dean have never met anyone as unique as Castiel. The kid wearing a trench coat in the middle of summer introduced himself the day they moved in, and all three of them became instant friends. Then Dean and Cas start spending a lot of time together and Sam finds himself excluded. He doesn't blame Dean at first; it must be hard being 15 and never setting down roots long enough to make lasting friendships. But as time goes on and he sees less of Dean and Cas, Sam realizes it's even harder being 11.
I have so much love for this fic! Seriously! So. Much. Love. Cas won me over instantly! I was smiling so hard and it just got better from there. LOVED Sam so much! He was awesome!

In 2005, instead of getting cast on Supernatural, Jared and Jensen get cast on Jeffrey Dean Morgan's new show, Whose Line Is It Anyway. BFFery and innuendo ensues.
I really need to stop judging fics by their summaries because I really wasn't convinced by this until I read it and OMG it's genius! I was smiling all the way through it, especially at the songs. Wonderful, wonderful fic.

OMG ♥ I had totally forgotten about this little 'verse that turned into my J2 Bigbang for this year. This is such an adorable continuation of the first two parts. This is actually a direction I half considered taking my bigbang in but I think it works WAY better here

This one is a little slow to get going but it's absolutely worth sticking with. It's got a real historic feel to it and the slow-building relationship between Merlin and Arthur comes naturally and wonderfully.

I've ranted about this on Twitter and now I'm going to rant here.

So, apparently in Chicago they are airing SPN a day late this week because of some sporting event.

FUCK YOU CHICAGO! I am visiting your fine city expecting to be able to watch SPN at the same time as the rest of America for once and you do this? On the day of a Very Important episode? *shakes fist of raeg*

I could see it sooner if I stayed at home!

But, I suppose, I can placate myself with the knowledge that I will be seeing Jared and Misha in person and thank god they're both appearing on the Sunday so we'll have all seen the new ep before their panels.

Less than 48 hours until I fly!
