My mum is visiting for a couple of days and we had a nice evening eating food and drinking wine and watching TV. Caught the last five minutes of an SPN episode and my mum, bless her, is good at keeping up with my fandom loves. She knows SPN is my current big thing.
Mum: Come on then which one do you fancy?
Sam: *walks on screen*
Hils: afjprhj
Mum: Oh, yes, I can see why. He is hot!
Hils Really? Most people prefer the other brother.
Mum: Eh, he's kind of short
Hils: ROFL! Everyone looks short next to Jared
Yeah, the Jared love is clearly genetic. This amused me muchly.
We also watched Strictly Come Dancing. I am already rooting for Matt Baker. He's a local lad. Well, local-ish. He's from County Durham. But he can move!
Katya (aka Chastity from SPN) is dancing again this year but she's not on until tomorrow. I feel duty bound to support her for almost having sex with Castiel ;)
