hils: (Misha has a pretty smile)
Before I post Misha's latest Twitter and Facebook posts I want to draw your attention to something

Now, I've seen people criticising Misha for Random Acts but as they were mostly people on the anon meme I didn't pay it much attention. If people aren't going to put their name to something their opinion is invalid as far as I'm concerned.

But this morning [livejournal.com profile] stephie_nhbg linked me to a blog post. This was actually written by someone who is a Misha fan, and they've outlined in a clear and concise way why they have issues with Random Acts and what Misha is doing. It's an interesting read, but what's even more interesting is that Misha has taken the time to respond to it in the comments.

Now my own personal opinion is that anything that donates money to charity is a good thing, regardless of the method. Misha is a smart guy and I don't doubt for a second that he doesn't know what he's doing. But I admit I'm viewing things through rose-tinted glasses as I am wont to do when it comes to Misha.

So, read the blog post and the response and make up your own mind

I just want to say thank you to everyone who commented on my Random Acts post this morning. I've had people I don't even know complimenting you all for respectful, polite and thought-provoking comments.

It's so easy to go into CAPSLOCK OF RAEG when discussing issues like this and the fact that no one did even though I had people supporting both sides of the argument is amazing and awesome. I love you all.

Hope this doesn't come across as patronising or anything. It really is a hearfelt message

*hugs*
