Methinks Misha is on a break from filming because there has been a lot of twittering going on this weekend.

BTW getting text alerts of Misha's tweets while you're simultaneously reading Dean/Cas slash and discussing his yoghurt covered face is a surefire way to fuck with your head. It was even worse than Friday when he was tweeting while I was watching SPN with flickums

He still seems to be sticking to the srs bsns tweets. Well, as srs as he gets anyway, which isn't very.

The House of Representatives' healthcare bill is disappointing. It doesn't have the "culling" provision Gingrich and I have been working on.

The insurance industry supported the provision too. It called for thousands of pumas, tigers and lions to be released in US cities & towns.

That's the issue no one's talking about-just reintroduce carnivorous predators, & natural selection would solve our healthcare problems.

Now, I know I read J2 but I am in no way a tin-hatter. I think Jensen and Danneel make an adorable couple and I wish them every happiness

From what I understand the wank and hatred has already started and I just want to make it clear that if any of that crops up on my flist you will be gone. RPS is not reality, guys. If you're a fan of Jensen you should want him to be happy. Let's all keep it pleasant please :)

Con etiquette

I was talking to flickums and a few others this weekend about con etiquette (specifically about how you don't talk to the actors about fanfic). I'm amazed there isn't a site with a lists of dos and don't for attending a con.

So, my question to the con goers on my flist is this. What items would you include in a con etiquette site and why?

Random stuff

I totally forgot I was supposed to meet Dave after work as it's his birthday today. Oops. Made it in the end though and we had a nice drink and a chat.

He's just finished a short story about angels which is due for publication next month. He's already got two sequels planned. I am excited. We're going to go and see Legion together when it comes out because we both love angel lore and Paul Bettany *g*

Dave has a boycrush on Wentworth Miller which I find highly amusing.

I'm in the process of saving all my favourite fics onto my hard drive so that when I can eventually afford an eReader I can put all the fics on it. Am using it as an excuse to read them all again as I go along. Just got to Do I Look Bulletproof To You which is a fave of mine and was what 100% sold me on J2 AU.

I should be writing my Christmas fic but I am really not in a Christmassy mood yet so it's making it hard. Have only managed to get 500 words on the page since I started it a week ago which is so not like me.

I shall have some dinner and maybe try and write a bit more before Flashforward starts

I think Misha is really bored at the moment. LOL! I had no idea there was a Creation con this weekend though. So I am looking forward to photos and vids. WHEE! Is anyone on my flist going?

I'm going to a conference in Chicago on how to build sustainable crime syndicates. My lecture "Extorting in the Dot-com Era" is on Saturday.

Yes, 4 those of u who are wondering, cats & children do count as family heirlooms-hair clippings in ziplock bags, on the other hand, do not.

By the way how do you explain to someone in 140 characters that replying to these tweets with 'does a 12 inch dildo count as a family heirloom' is totally inappropriate. WTF is wrong with people?
