My rpf_big_bang is ready to go. Unfortunately while my artist sent me a load of graphics to embed in the fic she forgot to unlock the master post of her art so I'm reluctant to post until she's unlocked it. Obviously if it comes time for me to go to bed and she still hasn't done it then I'll post regardless but I figured it would be polite to wait a while

Going to bed

I have a full-on cold now so I'm going to bed. Need to be relatively alert for SPN in the morning ;)

I've had some lovely comments to my big bang fic already which makes me happy. I think half the reason I was so nervous about this was because it's the first time I've really written J2 properly and it's the first time I've written Misha at all. And this is on top of it being the longest thing I have ever witten. LOL! Way to jump in at the deep end.

I'm finding it interesting to see the ratio in numbers between those who read the fic and those who comment. I'm not bitching at all. I suck at leaving feedback myself, especially in the SPN fandom where the majority of J2 authors never respond. I think out of all the feedback comments I left for spn_j2_bigbang only about three of the authors replied.

It was just interesting for me to see that so far I've had six comments to the fic but twenty people have downloaded the soundtrack. Now, either those twenty people downloaded the soundtrack but haven't read the fic yet or they downloaded and didn't comment. I suspect the latter.

I should set up a counter on my fics so I can see how many people read compared to how many comment. What do you think the ratio is on average? One comment to every ten readers maybe?

Like I said this isn't a complaint, at all. I'm grateful for any comments. It's just an observation.
