Back from Newcastle and it was awesome!

The Music/Short Film thingy on Friday was excellent. I chatted to one of the bands, had strange flavoured beer and met the brother of Ben & Becky from Britain's Got Talent. Managed not to point out that Ben would have been a lot better if he'd ditched Becky. LOL

Saturday we managed to watch all of Merlin and go out for a nice pub lunch too. We sat outside because the weather was so nice. Dave has decided that Uther is his favourite character in Merlin and he thinks Excalibur is the best episode. I did suggest we watch more SPN next time but he doesn't seem as keen even though he ships Sam/Dean

Today we watched Hulk vs Wolverine and Hulk vs Thor which was kind of fun but also incredibly violent for a cartoon.

So, what did I miss while I was away? How awesome were the boys at Asylum? I see Misha met The Queen in a porn shop. ROFL!

Asylum

So, I have heard that Asylum was even more badly organised this year than the last two to the point where Jared and Jensen skipped out on their final Q&A and left early.

This is actually good news to me because I was contemplating going to next years but no way in hell am I doing that if there has been no improvement in organisation in the three years that this thing has been running

It just annoys me because the boys only ever seem to come over here for Asylum. Why can't they come over for something else? I'm sure there's plenty of companies in this country who organise cons on a regular basis and aren't useless.

Why? Why? Why?

Can anyone tell me why I have signed up for the 2009 Fic Remix Challenge when I haven't finished my Sweet Charity fic or even started my RPF Big Bang
