jacqui_hw and I are watching Season One of Gossip Girl (kindly loaned to me by lou_angel

We've watched the first three episodes which is far as I got the first time around before I stopped downloading (because I had no time to watch it not because I didn't like it)

I still want to smish Eric and Jenny together

I went to bed at 2am again and I have no excuses. I knew I had to be up early to meet Ros and now I feel like I want to fall over. This is getting to be a habit. A bad habit.

So, we're either going to Allerton Park or Knaresborough. Allerton Park's website is less than helpful in terms of whether it's actually open or not so we'll see

In other, totally unrelated news, do you know what's so awesome about getting into J2 as late as this? The sheer amounts of EPIC fic there is to read. Seriously, I have loads of them bookmarked that are well over 50,000 words. I could read solidly for a week and not run out of stuff

YAY!

Oh, and I've set myself the deadline of June 1st to get my Sweet Charity fic finished. The girl I'm writing for has been really cool and isn't pressuring me at all.

Trip out could have gone better, but it was still nice.

Ros was late picking me up from the bus stop so I got a bit wet. She made up for it by giving me tea and biscuits though *g*

We headed to Allerton Park only to find that it didn't open until 1pm. It was 11:45am at this point.

We decided to go to Knaresborough for lunch, and that was very nice. We had a wander around the town and had some lunch and then headed back to Allerton Park.

Despite there being signs all over the place saying it was open on Bank Holidays and that tours started at 1pm the place was locked up and there was no sign of anyone. We gave up and came home

Now I have some fics to read, some photos to post and Heroes and Dollhouse to watch. That should keep me going until dinner time
