Happy Mother's Day to all the mummies on my flist

Mum-Ra and I are heading to Haworth today to visit the Bronte Museum.

Sad to hear that Jade has passed away but at least she's at peace now

Back from Haworth and I am sleepy. It's been a long day.

Haworth is a very strange place. Has anyone else been there recently? It feels like it's stuck in time. It's got a very Victorian feel to the town. I'm not sure I liked it. It's quaint but sort of overshadowed by the bleakness of the surrounding moors. I can definitely see how Emily was inspired to write Wuthering Heights.

The actual museum was pretty neat. There's loads of clothes, personal belongings and letters you can look at. Sadly you weren't allowed to take pictures inside but I took some of the town.

Bought a copy of the book of Wuthering Heights because I haven't actually read it, although I've seen a couple of films. Apparently there's a new TV seriel of it coming out this Autumn and Burn Gorman is going to be in it.

I wrote my A-Level coursework on Jane Eyre and I read The Tennant of Wildfell Hall over one summer but that's it. Any of the other Bronte stuff any good?
