It's nearly 3am and I have been up all night writing crack with lou_angel. I don't even have the excuse of writing with someone in a different timezone this time. We're just insane. LOL!

It's Chistmas Eve! I love that the whole day has become known as Christmas Eve now when really, as the name suggests, it's only the evening before Christmas Day.

But I digress

I've got a long day ahead of me today. I shall be heading out shortly to drive to Sheffield and pick up flickums. I'm feeling a bit wibbly about it after the whole exploding tyre incident but I have to do it or I'll wind up never driving again.

Still, I have had a most pleasant start to the day. My new laptop battery and charger arrived this morning. Merry Christmas me!

Remember when I posted my wish list and I asked for a harem of all my boys? Look what beef_wonder3 did for me! Isn't it awesome?

I have Christmas messages to post later, having been inspired by thisissirius but I shall do that when I get back from Sheffield

Halfway there

I am in Sheffield and just waiting for flickums to pack (apparently three weeks notice isn't enough. LOL)

I win the dumbass award btw. I was going to call in at York on the way to pick up a few things but I forgot my keys. D'oh! Well, I had my mum's car keys. It didn't occur to me that I'd need my own to get into the flat. LOL! Fail.

Well, we shall be heading back to the parentals shortly

Sadly this means no more Smallville icons over the holidays as I don't have the next disc with me. That was one of the things I wanted to pick up :(

Mum-Ra and Flickums have gone to church and I will likely burn in Hell because I opted for staying home in my PJs

Flick has loaned me the Sam Neil version of Merlin. Anyone else seen it? I'm probably going to have a hard time going back to anything Arthurian that isn't slashy now. LOL! Oh, Merlin, you have broken my brain.

Dad-Ra has gone to bed so I don't have to be sociable now. I think maybe I'll hang around online for a bit and then go to bed. Presents Christmas tomorrow! WHEE!
