Stan Winston died

I still have very clear memories of watching a feature about the special effects of Terminator 2 when it first came out and being blown away by his work.

He's done some amazing special effects over the years and most recently did a lot of the suit work for Iron Man

BSG SQUEE!

Season 4 of BSG is no less awesome on a second viewing, although my loathing of Roslin's hypocricy seems to grow with each episode. I did get into an interesting discussion with Dave though, who could see the logic behind her methods.

Then we got into a debate on which character is the most awesome

( Just in case some of you haven't seen Season 4 yet )

Actually, we had quite an interesting discussion on Baltar and his motivations. I think Season 4 sees Baltar being fully genuine for the first time, but Dave thinks even when he was president of New Caprica he believed in what he was doing.

Any thoughts?

This just cracked me up

I trekked to Toys R Us, Iron Man was replaced by a certain winged action hero who doesn't actually fly, but rather falls in style from buildings with spelunking gear.

Don't get me wrong, I love Bats, but this just made me laugh a lot.

Also, the Audi R8 won the 'most economical supercar' contest on Top Gear on Sunday and all I could think was 'that's Tony Stark's car'

I need an icon of Tony's pretty car.

Mmm...imagine Tony in his Audi racing Lex in his Porsche

And maybe they could have sex on top of the winning car afterwards
