I don't know why really. I do try and comment in other peoples journal wherever I can. Ah well, I clearly suck. LOL!

Edit: danceswithgary has pointed out that a lot of the received comments will be feedback on my fic and icons. That possibly explains it, although I do try and reply to all comments I get.

Edit2: Replies to comments aren't counted apparently so that solves the mystery I think

My plan for the weekend

I think I might actually do some writing this afternoon. It'll only be for a couple of hours as I'm meeting Dave at 3:30 but that's better than nothing, and I have all day tomorrow to do stuff too.

I definitely feel more inclined to do fannish stuff at the weekend. Possibly because I feel more relaxed.

There may even be icons tomorrow depending on how I get on with my Iron Man fic.

Summer

Thanks to everyone who wished me sunny weather. We had a lovely barbeque and stuffed ourselves silly. Later in the evening, when it started to get cold, we decided that the obvious solution (rather than going and sitting inside) was to burn stuff.

It was fun, but the downside was when I got home I realised that my clothes and hair stank of smoke. LOL!

Ah well, fun was had and that's all that matters.

Writer's Block: To me, LiveJournal is...

Someone once described LJ to me as online group therapy but I really think it's so much more than that.

When I first joined LJ it was just as a bit of fun. Little did I know that I'd wind up with over 200 people on my flist, some of whom I am just as close to as I am to my RL friends. I have travelled all over the world to meet some of my LJ friends, which I think is an indication of how much they mean to me.

For a while LJ was just about posting fandom stuff, but it's more than that now. I can talk about all the stuff that's going on in my life and there is usually at least one person out there who has been through what I'm going through and is able to offer advice.

Is it sad that I can't imagine not having LJ? Maybe, but I don't care.

I just spotted Ellen from Supernatural in BSG. Apparently she was in Smallville too.

I love that these shows share actors. Tyroll has been in Smallville twice playing two different characters (both of whom turned out to be evil. LOL)
