padfoot_uk first showed me LJ and talked me into getting an account. flickums gave me an invite code - because you needed one back then.

There wasn't much of a fandom presence on LJ back then so I mostly used it for posting quizes and memes, with the occasional post about what was going on in my life.

Stepping back

I might be absent from fandom for a while.

I'm just feeling kind of overwhelmed with job stuff and driving stuff and general life stuff and it's stopping me from wanting to do things like write and make icons. I'm trying to keep up with my reading but if I don't comment on something please don't take it personally. I'm just finding it difficult to concentrate on stuff at the moment.

I'm hoping this will only last a few days but I just wanted to let you know where I am in case I wind up away for longer.

I just watched the pilot movie of the new Knight Rider

It was very silly! But Knight Rider always was so I will let it off

Plus it gains points for having Val Kilmer as KITT and cameo from The Hoff

Overall I enjoyed it
