Yeah, I wound up not coming home last night (shut up! Not for that reason!)
It's bizarre but during the week the last train from York is at 11:20pm. On a Saturday it's 9:30pm. To me that makes no sense. Surely people are more likely to want to get a late train on the weekend.
The roleplaying was supposed to start at 6 but didn't actually wind up starting until 7:30 which meant I'd have had to leave after an hour. Luckily I'd prepared for something like this and left extra food out for the kitty. Good thing too as the game didn't finish until 1:30am and it was 2am before I got home. It was fun though. We had steam powered zombies, a time loop and dinosaurs. Typical episode of Torchwood really ;)
I got up at 8am to get the first train back. Kitty was VERY pleased to see me. She still had plenty of food left but I guess she thought she'd been abandoned. Poor woobie. She came and sat on me and was purring her little head off.
I'm bloody knackered though. Again.
But I HAVE POWER!! My new laptop cable is plugged in and working a treat. YAY! Now I can download BSG and Doctor Who (which I totally forgot was on yesterday)
And I need some breakfast! Somehow I managed to miss the call for food last night so I wound up just eating a couple of slices of someone elses pizza and a some garlic bread.
