I really need to make some more icons. It's been a while. Shall have to try and make time for that over the weekend.

My clothes swap fic is progressing but I have a question. Do you reckon Jonathan's clothes would fit Lex? I'm trying to work out the best way to get Lex in plaid *g*

Ros is coming over on Saturday after her concert rehearsal and I'm going to cook dinner. I don't cook much, not because I can't but more because I don't enjoy it and Jacqui does. I find cooking quite stressful and tend to panic. LOL. Still, I shall have a bash.

After dinner Ros is performing a requiem with her choir in York Minster so I shall be going to that. I'm definitely wrapping up this time. Last time she sang I dressed up because I was going to classical concert. When I got there everyone else was wearing jeans and I was freezing. LOL!

So I'll be spending most of Saturday afternoon tidying and getting stuff ready. Saturday morning I'll be asleep ;)

bittermint I'm going to try and get your Rex posted tonight. Depends if I can get to the PO in time after my driving lesson. If not it'll definitely be tomorrow.

Good and bad...mostly bad

That was not my best lesson by a long shot. For some reason I could not get my head around reversing around a corner, despite the fact it's exactly the same as reverse parking which I did fine last week. My instructor suggested we move on to something else but I was determined to get it right and straight after that I did it twice with no problems. How odd!

At the end of the lesson my instructor told me he's moving to Australia at the start of May :( He's promised to do his best to get me to a decent standard before he goes but obviously his priorites are the students who have tests booked between now and then. He's going to recommend some other instructors but it's a bugger because I really get on with him

First impressions

I'm not overly impressed with gmail so far :(

1. I don't like how it groups all the comments from one LJ post together in one message

2. I don't like how it takes you back to the Inbox after you delete a message instead of taking you to the next message.

I'll give it another day but I think I will be switching back to yahell

The Waaaaaaawawa of Torchwood has been replaced. This is the conversation I had at work today

Hils: *is reading LJ*
Dave: Stop that!
Hils: Bzuh?
Dave: You've been tapping the Terminator theme music on the desk for the last ten minutes
Hils: *looks down at hand* Have I?
Dave: Yes
Hils: Oops

I can't stop doing it! I've been doing it on the edge of my laptop tonight and on my desk. It's IN MY BRAIN

So now I've had to download it and put it on my iPod. LOL!
