So, last night I had a nightmare about my wedding.
In the dream it was my wedding day. All my friends and family were there and it was clearly a wedding designed for me. It was on board a ship and the Superman theme played as I walked down the aisle.
The problem was I really didn't want to get married.
I'm not even sure who the groom was supposed to be. Someone I went to school with maybe. But I knew I had nothing in common with him and I couldn't even remember him proposing. I spent the entire build up to the ceremony, and the ceremony itself, crying because I knew that what I was doing was wrong. People were telling me that it was just nerves, and that I'd be mad to turn him down because he was rich and if I married him I'd have my own house.
At the last possible minute I had to tell everyone that I couldn't go through with it.
Those who know me well know that I am quite an independant person and I really don't want to get married, so this dream freaked me out quite a bit
Edit: That's not to say people who are married aren't independent. I just like to go off and do my own thing too much. I am a selfish person who puts myself first. LOL!
